Crafting Recipes:
—————–
Note: Try to avoid crafting anything until near the end of Act 1 if you like your
menues looking orderly. Crafting Recipes remain in your Recipe Menu in the EXACT
order you discover them in. If having things scattered all over the place annoys
you, then save all the recipe books you find, but DO NOT read them until you are
ready to begin crafting. That being said, know that if you ask the Doctor if she
has potions she teach you the recipe for minor Healing Potions.

-=Weapons=-
Be aware, the weapons created will be at the level your character crafting them
is currently at. So you might want to save these materials until later on so you
can make higher level weapons either to sell or use yourself.

General Tips:
————-
Here is a list of random but useful tips that should help you out to
get better in combat:

*-One character = One strategy
It’s best that each of your character does what it is supposed to instead of
trying to do everything with every character.

* Be ready, be adaptive
It’s good to specialize your characters but don’t rely too much on the same
strategy or you may have serious troubles in some situations. You will face
very varied encounters and if for example your main source of damage is fire
any Magical Armor heavy or Fire resist heavy team will completely destroy you.
It’s also good for each of your character to do a tiny bit of what it’s not
supposed to do such as having one Magical Armor CC on your heavy Physical
Damage character (and vice-versa) for that moment where you can only that
one type of CC.

* Synergy is the key
Synergy between your characters but also within each character’s build will get
you anywhere. If you feel your characters lack synergy try to figure out why,
sometimes it can be because of their Initiative Score (you often want to put
Poison before Fire for example), sometimes it can be because they are doing too
much of the same, sometimes it’s another reason entirely. On a team-scale try
to make the count of how many CC you have, their Armor type and which character
holds them, the count of your defensive options, what mobility options each
party member has. On a character-scale make sure that your damage-dealer character
have good skills to get rid of armors fast and decent CC options that are cheap
enough to use and with cooldowns that allow them to be used when needed to make
sure you keep the upper-hand.

* Creativity is your best friend

How to Steal:
————-
Written by GameAssassin1020.

For those too inept to figure out the rudementary concept that is stealing and
not getting caught.

#1: Distraction:
Simply approach the npc you want to take from and talk to them. This prevents
them from turning and seeing you steal. You can do this to 2 other npcs if there
are several people walking around.

#2: The Theft
Have a second party memeber, the one who isn’t talking sneak outside of the victims
npcs field of view. Then grab the item/s you wish to steal.
In this example I take a bucket.

#3: The Swindling
The npcs are smart, so you have to be careful now. Take the item you stole and put
it on the ground. Yes, just leave it there. Better yet, put it in a chest or crate,
or shove it in some other npcs pocket.
The point is, none of your party memebers should have it on them.

#4: The Questioning
Stop talking to the npc and let them walk a few feet away, realizing instantly that
they have lost something oh so precious. Obviously the npc wont be too happy about
you stealing their prized bucket and leaving it on the ground where they will never
find it so prepare to have your goodies searched. Let them search you and blatently
ignore the item on the ground or in their own belongings.
If you split up your party, be careful they dont search you twice.

#5: Collect your Prize!
Now you will see that the item is no longer red and can be picked up and taken.
It will also be marked stolen, a sign that you’re a dirty theif!

How to Get Insanely Rich (During the Tutorial):
———————————————–
Written by Endgunner

If you do not like exploits then you might not want to read this guide.
Other then that its probably not a glitch so.

It is very quick to do, and depending on RNG will get you very rich indeed somewhere
around 200-300 gold. At no cost! This is a lot for just starting out.

-=How to Do It=-
After the witch knocks everybody out, simply kill them. Don`t worry! After the boat
crashes all you need to do is walk down a bit and see the red prince standing there
and you will see that everybody does not stay dead.

However you do get a very large amount of fairly valuable loot!

Happy “killing”!

-=Bonus! (Not Exploit)=-
Look out for golden cups, they are worth a lot of gold, so far i have found 2
of em on the ship.

How to Play Singleplayer with Four Custom Characters:
—————————————————–
Written by Bloblobbob

Ever wanted to play divinity with multiple custom characters? Well now you can!
Disclaimer: It’s quite likely that someone has done a guide of this before, but
I wanted to make one as I recently learned that this was possible.

-=Locating the EoCApp File=-
In order to create four custom characters from the beginning, you’ll need to open
multiple instances of divinity.

* First, open divinity through steam and create a singleplayer lobby like you
normally would.
* Make any wanted adjustments to your character, open the lobby with a direct
connection, and copy the IP.
* Once you’ve done that, go into your file explorer and locate the “Divinity Original
Sin 2” folder. On PC this is usually located on your C: drive in Program Files(x86)
-> Steam -> steamapps -> common.
* Once inside the “Divinity Original Sin 2” folder, you need to locate the “EoCApp”
application.
* This is located in DefEd -> bin.
* Launch this application, and select the right profile.

Note: By default, launching the EoCApp will create a new debug profile, but you
don’t need to use this.
Just make sure not to use a proflie you’re already using.

-=Joining the Game via Direct Connection=-
Once you have two instances of divinity running (careful: your computer will most likely
start to lag a bit with multiple instances open), open the muliplayer window through the
main menu and select the direct connect button. Paste the IP for the lobby you created
earlier, and join the game.

You can now edit your other custom character! You can open new instances of divinity as
many times as you like using the EoCApp application, but you only need four to make a
full party of custom characters. When you’re happy with your characters, start the game.
Once the tutorial deck has loaded, you can safely close the other instances of divinity.
You can now play with all of your characters!
