The civil war in Thessaly will only be decided by the blood of its people.

Pherae is definitely one of the more difficult factions.

The state is involved in a civil war with the Thessalian League which draws all of
your resources away. This war gives you no rest until one or other of the factions
is defeated. Pherae is also quite unpopular among the other Greek states so you had
better watch your back!

I always try to make peace with as many factions as possible to eliminate the number
of potential enemies. Offer them free gifts, agree to their proposals, you are in no
position to make demands until you bring the situation in your own state under
control.

It’s an adrenaline surge from the start.
